Before you register, here’s a couple things you should know so you don’t have a hard time when coming to Zambia
Before leaving Nigeria, You will need a Yellow Fever Card. This can be gotten at any Primary Health Center or (and we do not advise this) at the Airport. On entry in Zambia, You will be expected to pay $50 so have that cash on you. If you need any assistance, please reach Dumebi Egbunna (+234-916-766-7376) or Ufana Ishoyor (+234-817-672-2081)
The Zambian Kwacha is the local currency. One Zambian Kwacha is approximately Eighty Naira but since the US Dollar is also accepted, that might be an easier option to carry. Currency exchange points will be at the airport but their fees might be higher so it’s advised to have a couple dollars on you in case of emergencies. Also Visa and Mastercards are accepted by the Zambian ATMs
There’s a host of apartments and hotels relatively close to the venue, We’ve compiled a list alongside contact addresses should you want to stay in one of them. To access that link; click here.
The conference organizers have already arrangements for local logistics like pick-ups and drop offs from the airport/to and fro the conference venue but should you like to move around Lusaka, it is advisable that you hold some petty cash for cab fare and such.

If you’d love to attend; you can register here; The conference starts on the 29th of June and runs through to the 2nd of July after which it’d be time to converge and witness the spectacular Kwimbo National Festival.
Currently, Lusaka is experiencing a dry winter season so pack for really chilly weather. Also, Lusaka is 1 hour ahead of Nigeria and operates on Central African Time so be sure to set your mobile clocks accordingly and you should be fine.
